Horrible service, I will never go to Gardner White again

I've been waiting on my mattresses for a month but was told I would have them in a couple days. I've left my call back number numerous of times but nobody ever calls u back. I'm calling the store everyday and no one will answer the phone. The worst service I've ever experienced, I miss u Art Van!!!!

Today my new chair was delivered by Bobby Flenard and Anthony Seder they were very polite and put my chair in the spot I wanted it to go. I am so happy that my chair came sooner than I thought it was on back order due to the virus order on June 25th and got it today July 11. I was first told that it may not come until the middle of August. Thanks for the good work.

Delivery issues and poor customer service

I purchased a dining room set over the phone when the State was closed. Upon receival of my set I contacted my salesperson and service regarding issues with the set. I did not receive a response after numerous calls and emails. Customer service responded one time only and said they will provide service when the State opens up. I keep calling and it sends me to leave a message and nobody has ever called me back and salesperson is not responding either. It has been 3 months now and nobody is responding to my service request.

Broken furniture

Haven't even had my couch is a year it broke it's caving in I've been calling since April 20/20 to get it replaced I keep getting the run-around or no call backs but I'm still having to pay on broken furniture that's dangerous and has staples sticking out everywhere

on 10/19/2015 we received our Crosby chestnut sofa &; ;recliner top grain leather and bought the leather protection and spent $2500.00 from canton store order #09180**** just over 4 years later my top grain leather is fading i talked to Wesley Smith the salesman now at the Taylor store said he talked to. Louis Armstrong. said there is nothing we can do at Gardner-White. he will need to address this through the warranty company if they denied him then he will need to purchase new furniture. I asked you who in their right mind would buy more furniture from Gardner-White knowing. their leather furniture is going to fade and not be protected under a warranty that you paid for and your furniture cost $2,500.Ray wilhoite 313291****.

Im not going to wait on a bedroom set for 3 months The service person said there was 180 people I had of me on the bedroom sets and I didnt have no bedroom sets that matched up with what we wanted our bedroom sets. They were in stock so if you wanna order off-line I wouldnt because you buy it then theyll call and tell you theyre out of stock or if its back ordered go to the store

I called to see why our furniture hasnt been delivered and the lady said she didnt know why a delivery wasnt scheduled. I paid my balance in full and scheduled a delivery. No one called the day of the delivery to let me know what time they would arrive. I left 3 messages at the Auburn Hills store and no one called me back. I tried numerous times to look up the delivery schedule but it was out of order. I took the whole day off of work and no one came with our furniture. No one even called me back and there was no way to call and speak to a person. Yep, we paid in full and this is what we get! Where is my furniture?

Mad hurt and sad about the Service I Received

I explain to Gardner White that my mom had passed November 2019 I found paperwork that she put a sofa in layaway and only put $100 so I went up there and inquire about me paying for it was getting delivered to the same address I was told thats not a problemSo December January and February I made payments by March it was pay off the sofa was on back order so I was waiting they even putThe sofa in my name and then the city shut down everything was on hold When they open up I went up there it was told to me that corporate Cancel my order May 8 stating that I needed to go to probate court .im asking Why would I have to go to probate court and my mom only paid $100 I paid $947My mother had three children no one is her Beneficiary everything was split it three ways I chose to spend my money on something she wanted before she passedAnd now her living room is empty but her sofa she wanted is paid for and I cannot receive it.And I just dont understand why do I have to go to court and pay money for something I paid my money on if you guys want to keep her hundred dollars thats fine I just want the furniture and pillows that she picked out This has really been weighing heavy on my heart and I dont know how much I can take can someone please get back to me Ive been calling for a month leaving messages and my phone number and Im not getting no phone calls back

Is Gardner White going out of business??? As they do not respond to any emails, or call you back after leaving countless phone voice mail messages, and do not respond to messages left on their corporate chats help! But they sure take your credit card and Bill it quickly for an online order but then give you a "we are processing your order" email without an order number provided! Nice! Maybe the AG's office and BBB in Michigan should look into this Company. Truly on the road to being the next Art Van.......

Return Policy

My mother in law purchased a lift chair for my father in law hoping he would return from his rehab facility. My father in law never came home. He passed away and was never able to use the lift chair he so desperately needed. Gardner White has a 7 day return policy, and they told me they can not take the chair back. I understand having policies, but I also understand having empathy for a senior woman that doesn't need a lift chair. She bought it to help him in his weakened state. I think it's sad that a company is more interested in a sale, than the people they serve. Trust me when I say we will pass this story on to everyone we know. An older woman loses her husband, and Gardner White made a dollar. Congratulations on the sale, it will be the last one from this family.

After 5 minutes or more of answering prompts and being transferred, I was out on hold. Eventually I was told to leave my name and phone number and someone would call me back. 24 hours later, still no call. If you are expecting people to shop in your stores, it would be a good idea to answer your phones or call people back.
